Sunday Football In Style

As fall has officially arrived, there’s just one thing that can bring everyone together on Sunday afternoons; and that's football.  If you haven't already, you have got to check out the latest collection of New England Patriot’s t-shirts, tanks, and sweats in the NFL clothing collection by Junk Food. While we wish Junk Food solely made their super cute NFL collection for the New England Patriots alone, they carry a wide selection of teams throughout the U.S. Fashionista Kristin Cavallari recently collaborated with Junk Food in creating dresses, crop tops and skirts featuring various NFL team logo's. Parts of her line was previewed on September 10th 2013, at New York Fashion Week.  Finally, an official blend of fashion and sports, sounds like a touchdown to us!

The "Fall Back" Wardrobe

As summer comes to an end and temperature's drop, we all anticipate what is next to come; the love of boots, scarves, knit sweaters, cozy leggings and more! Livin' On The Edge

When you are feeling your wildest, go for it! Bold leopard pants paired with a black lace bandeau and denim vest with gold spikes. Since all the craziness of the holidays are over and 2012 is now here, It's time to get back to basics and refresh yourself for the upcoming spring season!

Let's get down to the bare basics of how to keep your skin healthy during the winter so you can be GLOWING once the spring/summer hits! Your skin is mostly likely feeling dry, itchy, and just plain yuck during this time, so make sure to moisturize, MOISTURIZE, moisturize! It can't be stressed enough. According to WebMD.com find moisturizers that have an oil base. Having an oil base will serve as a shield over your skin locking in more moisture. Avoid moisturizers with a lot of alcohol in them, for example the scented lotions from Victoria's Secret or Bath & Body works. Even though they moisturize the alcohol will not help improve the well being of your skin, rather it will just keep it at the state that it is in.
Exfoliation is a another great way to keep your skin polished and looking new. Exfoliate 1 - 3 times a week, be sure to ease your way into it, so that you are not over exfoliating and drying your skin out more! There is great selections at Ulta or Sephora depending on your favorite smell and if you would rather use a sugar scrub or salt scrub. One of my favorite exfoliators is the Sandstone Soap from LUSH. It is a organic handmade soap! Inside in amazing lemon scented soap is grains of sand great for an everyday exfoliation! Anything that includes lemon is great for your skin too! Not only does it have tons of antioxidants for your skin, it helps brighten your skin and keep it glowing! Another way to avoid dry skin is stay away from the tanning beds!! Get a spray tan (way more healthy for you in every way!) or slather on some Jergens for a natural glowing look.
Your face is usually the most visible and exposed part of your body during the winter so make sure that you are protecting it in anyway that you can! Even though it's winter and the snow may be falling DO NOT FORGET to wear sun screen! Weekly face mask's and exfoliation is great too. Don't forget your lips! Keep your lips moist with your favorite chap stick. Also exfoliation for your lips works too! A little recipe I use is mixing sugar and olive oil and rubbing it on your lips. The olive oil will moisten while the sugar scrubs away any dead, unnecessary skin.

Christmas Favorites!!!

So we are taking a little Christmas break to let you know what some of our favorite traditions and other fun stuff!!! This time of year is such a favorite time for the both of us. For the past four years we've dressed our beautiful WHITE christmas tree with PINK (obvioulsy) and silver ornaments topped with our little star! Isn't it so cute? :)  Now since we have our store we have brought this little beauty here for all to see! Just one more reason to come into Vamped!! We love wrapping presents in super cute wrapping paper, bows, ribbon; we usually go all out to VAMP up our gifts, this time of year and every other occasion! Every year, despite how busy we can get, we always make time to have a christmas dinner with our girls & catch up so always a good time..especially with our friends!!We usually dress our dogs in obnoxious Christmas outfits that they usually hate!! Like my little man does !!
